
Welcome to the hometown of the Beatles! We'll meet at the entrance to Chinatown at 2 pm to set off on our walking tour of Liverpool -
First, we'll head towards the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts and learn all about how one of the band's members founded this famous institute. Next, we'll head past some of the pubs where they started their musical career until we reach the famous record store, NEMS.
Afterwards, we'll visit the statue of Eleanor Rigby to find out who she was and why they dedicated a song to her. Then we'll visit some even more iconic statues; those of John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr!
Lastly, we'll end the free tour at to the famous Cavern Club, where we'll get to admire the Wall of Fame and take in the atmosphere of a place where the Beatles played nearly 300 times! The free tour will end here at 4:30 pm.
